Executive Club CENSORED!
7:00 pm ⊕ Wednesday July 3rd ⊕ Airport Shilo Inn
So this is a test for the cell phone display of these emails.
Stunning discovery of political censorship against Exec Club!

Michael Cross, below (details in
GREEN)!
Courage! Spunk! Bravery! Just... plain... BRASS!
The Senate Republicans: the minority that ROARED!
Governor Brown broke the deal on HB2020, and... POOF!
GONE! 11 Republican Senators vanished, and the Democrats
were powerless to continue passing a horrible law.
But we found them, still smoking from the battle!
They'll be with us, Wednesday night!
Think a standing ovation is in order? Yeah! Me, too!
Our Magnificent Eleven braved ridicule, shaming, bad press,
meaningless threats, and fines... and stood their ground.
Kate Brown even sent the state police after 'em.
(Silly whiner! The Oregon Constitution says legislators
can't be arrested "during the session")
And all the while, the whole storm was reported around the
country, 80% of Oregonians thought the Republicans did the
right thing, and grassroots conservatives were on FIRE!
Our team proved that the minority still has a way to be heard!
THAT... IS... AWESOME!
I'm thinking hearing the whole story, along with the list of
other bills that died in the process, will be anything but
boring, and here's who is going to tell us about it:
Gregg Clapper
Eric Winters
Jason Williams
Our Heroes
The first three guys you know. Who're the Heroes? Why, the Magnificent Eleven. Movie star material. Well, except this ending is better.
Contemplate this picture: Democrats flustered and furious! No bills could advance. I'm surprised they weren't playing cards, or bouncing beach balls to the gallery. Talk about overplaying your hand, while deftly being stopped from wiping out industry in the state, not to mention making all sorts of equipment no longer legal and applying killer gas taxes. Do these people simply not use their brains?
So, let's celebrate snatching victory from a nasty election last time, and congratulate OUR victorious Senators. And keep that 80% of Oregon with us going into the 2020 election.
Join us Wednesday night.

Submitting Followup Information
Executive Club passes on meeting followup information as a courtesy to our speakers and members. Any member or speaker may submit, by email, a simple update text presentation to be sent to the club mailing list, to give the membership to have more details, or just a recap of your platform presentation. To be considered for publication, please be sure to submit your update within 24 hours of the close of the meeting. Please don't include any pictures in your text, but links to web pages, or links to things stored elsewhere on the web -- .pdf files, Word documents, or even pictures -- are OK now. Formatting and inserted pictures will not be copied, just the text content, so please don't use 4 fonts and 6 colors to convey your thoughts: you will be disappointed. Look at a previous followup email, or the bottom of most of the invitation emails, to see how they are presented. The simpler and cleaner your text, the more likely it will appear exactly the same in the email we send out. Each update must also indicate the author's name and contact information -- either a phone number, email address, or website with contact information. We reserve the right to edit for brevity, or reject, any submission.

5 line signature sheets for the gross receipts tax repeal are
now cleared for use by the Secretary of State for circulation. But the only the 5 line sheets with the petition text printed on the back side will be accepted by the Secretary of State, and the ones you picked up at Executive Club were not printed on the back, so don't use them. We can send you new 5 line sheets with the petition text printed on the back if you will email
Jeff Kropf at jkropf@wvi.com, say how many you want and your address to send them.
Additionally, the 10 line sheets are approved by the SOS and are available also if you would like to request one or more of those.
Please
download and print the actual text of the parts of HB3427 that we are repealing, and remember to keep it with the petitions as you circulate them.
Be certain that you personally witness people signing your petitions.
After each sheet is complete, be sure to fill out and sign the Circulator Certification section at the bottom of each signature page.
Finally, please
download and print this letter from attorney Dan Meek detailing your rights to gather signatures in public places and citing Oregon Supreme Court rulings establishing that right. We advise you to print a copy of this letter
if you intend to be circulating petitions in public places in the rare instance that government officials or opponents of our effort try to stop you from circulating.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and thanks for caring enough to fight for our right to vote on this damaging tax.

RESCUING OUR CHILDREN SUMMER TOUR 2019 WITH ALEX NEWMAN
As early as 2014 Samuel Blumenfeld teamed up with international journalist and educator Alex Newman to write the book, "Crimes of the Educators", that exposed the plan to socialize America. The reason the Deep State globalists sounded so confident about the success of their agenda -- they had a secret weapon: nationalizing K-12 schooling with Common Core. More than 85 percent of American children are being indoctrinated by radicalize government schools.
In this explosive talk, Alex Newman exposes the insanity that has taken over the public school system.
From the secularization of children and the reshaping of values to deliberate dumbing down, Alex shows how dangerous this threat is -- not just to our children, but also to the future of faith, family, and freedom -- and what every American can do about it.

The Freedom Foundation is a regional think and action tank dedicated to removing government unions influence on the political cycle.
On May 1st the Trump administration with the help of the Freedom Foundation
enacted a rule change that would make it illegal for and state to deduct union dues from an in-home care providers paycheck. In Oregon will affect over 18,000 care providers that are currently paying dues to SEIU 503, costing them millions in lost revenue.
Of course, Ellen Rosenblum and 4 other liberal attorney generals do not want the states to comply with this request. So they have collaborated to sue the Trump administration in order to seek an injunction to prevent this change from happening. The administration, with the help of the Freedom Foundation, will fight this as far as it needs to go.
Unions are not stopping there. HB-2016 or as we call it- "the union wish-list," has passed out of senate committee and is heading to the senate floor. The bill would amend state law in a multitude of ways, all in an effort to allow the unions to continue their revenue stream for their liberal candidates. 7 unions came out to testify on the bill and made no secret that this bill was all about Janus, and the Freedom Foundation. Hello All!! It was great seeing everyone Wednesday evening!! Hadn't seen some of you in awhile and it was great catching up!
We Oregonians are at the tipping point. IF we properly seize this golden opportunity that is just lying there -- WE CAN TAKE OREGON BACK. 2020 looks very good for us. People are MAD. They are standing up to do something about it too.
Soooo... We need to be there with a fresh new message and fresh ideas- or we WILL LOSE this GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!
In my view, the catapult to get us there is this Recall effort. We have been building this for 4 months now and we have County Captains in nearly every county and are building and creating even more! To date- we have 8,000 people plugged in and ready to go to work! They are READY to take back Oregon!
The actual Recall will be filed June 17, 2019. It will be a very nice early Christmas present having her gone December of 2019!! After Kate is gone, we can use this organization to GET THE RIGHT PEOPLE ELECTED!!
As I said, we are foolish if we don't properly plan and cultivate this golden opportunity! I can't do it by myself though! I need your help!! Currently we are labor rich and cash poor. I know how to shave a dollar and accomplish multiple objectives with the SAME DOLLAR! We have filed Oregon Freedom Foundation (c3 non profit,) and Advancing Oregon a c4.
POLITCAL CENSORSHIP BY OUR HOST SERVICE HOSTMONSTER.COM!
WHEN I PREVIOUSLY TRIED TO SEND THIS UPDATE ITEM, INCLUDING THE LINK BELOW, THE EMAILS WERE PURGED WITHOUT NOTICE!
On 6/18, I sent out a Followup, including this update, and it was transmitted. However, when it was again included in the invitation sent out on 6/28, all the emails attempting to leave our domain space were simply purged ... GONE! ... without any notice (no "bounce", no alarm, nothing). Everything about Hostmonster's "send" process acted as if the emails were successfully sent, except they simply didn't send anything. I've tested several ways, and isolated the behavior to this one link, to Flush...Brown.Com! Obscured by the hyphens, Hostmonster sends the email. Blatent censorship on the part of U.S. (Utah) - based service HostMonster. This will not stand.
To use the link, you must copy it and REMOVE the hyphens.
I hope you will reach out- offer to help both with a little time and some funds. Please visit
(remove hyphens) Flush-Down-Kate-Brown.Com, enroll, and maybe chip in a couple dollars.
If you want to know more about me, visit
MichaelCross.Org. I recently ran a mayoral race and after only living in the present community for two years- garnered 31% as a WRITE IN CANDIDATE.
We also have Oregon First PAC -- geared towards winning over the D walkaways and votes from the left to accomplish our goals! I respectfully ask for your help, in any way you can!

June 2019 Update
Too hot ! Too soon and rain for the Memorial Day Holiday. Our weather will normalize soon. I do hope everyone is watching closely our 'money-hungry' legislature. Our Republicans in Salem are doing their best to deter additional tax burdens on us. This session is scheduled to be completed June 30, 2019. Keep in touch with our Senators and Representatives to remind them of our support and Thank them for their perseverance.
As Mt. Hood Republican Women won't be meeting until September 11, 2019, our Updates will keep you informed throughout the Summer.
JUNE BIRTHDAYS: June 12, Gail Cerveny; June 16, Toni Valdez; June 19, Diane Parker; June 24, Sharon Petri
A big THANK YOU to everyone for the large amount of baby shower items brought to our May 8th meeting. Annette Davis, Estacada Pregnancy Resource Center, spoke for her Mom, Cheryl Harris, of the Sandy Center, regarding how many clients visited every day and outlined their presentations at organizations and schools in the area. She described the education classes and availability of baby layettes for those served. Captain Dianne Madsen, of Gresham's Salvation Army, shared the amount of families served every day and the many expanded programs offered at their 194th and S. E. Stark Location. She spoke of their family's upcoming transfer to the San Francisco Center and their new responsibilities. Our good wishes and prayers were sent for a successful new adventure in helping others through the Salvation Army program. They will be missed in Gresham.
The latest information regarding the Clackamas County Vehicle Registration fee initiative for voter referral, It failed to get the needed number of signatures within the time allowed resulting in a $30, yearly fee per vehicle effective next year.
An informational hearing on Senate Bill 668 will take place by the Senate Education Committee on June 5 in Salem. This will implement an Educational Savings Account program for those choosing other school out of district options.
The controversial illegal driver licenses bill HB 2015, has been sent to the rules committee which usually means no additional action will be taken until the next legislative session. But remember, this session doesn't end until June 30. So they could still bring it up. We all urge it to be brought before the voters at a general election. Call your Representative and voice your views.
Many of our members, their relatives and friends. have been ill during the last months. Please visit, call or send cards and messages to them to wish them speedy recoveries. Our prayers are needed for Kate, Billie, Donna. Colleen, Darlene. Sharon. Becky. Diane. Wendy and Alta. Please forgive me for anyone I've neglected to mention. We want them well again.
Sympathy is sent to the friends and relatives of Sen. Jackie Winters who passed away this week. Member Colleen remembers working with her many years ago.
Executive Club Meeting, Wednesday, June 5, 7 pm, Airport Shilo Inn, 11707 N.E. Airport Way. Dinner at $20 is available and lots of free parking. Speaker will be Senator Brian Boquist. Subject, "The most regressive, Forbes-condemned, poor destroying business tax just passed in Salem." Always the latest information to share on the legislature's spending sprees and the inaction of our elected officials regarding the "Homeless Camps", electric buses, tolling and the much needed new bridge over the Columbia River. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend and enjoy the spirit of Don McIntire. Long may it live !
We are watching HB 2020, the carbon reduction bill that would increase our gas prices and severely cripple many industries. HB 2015 would be very beneficial to all by asking the legislature to refer measures to us for a vote. SJR 23 is a joint resolution to abolish our 'Kicker Refund". A Pers reform measure was passed on Thursday, that would just in essence 'kick the can' down the road without any new reforms or requirements for recipient contributions. Oregon is one of only two states that don't require employees to contribute to their pension benefits.
Member Melanie Raies attended the "Day At The Legislature" event for our club and said it was well attended and productive. Speakers included Rep. Greg Barreto, Rep. Cedric Hayden, Sen. Herman Baertschiger, Sen. Dennis Linthicum, Sen Kim Thatcher and many more. She said the messages were positive.
If you have any information you'd like to share in our July Update, please contact Clarice, 503-658-5227 or claricemoss@yahoo.com

TAKE THE INITIATIVE!
Drivers on both sides of the Columbia River are frustrated by growing traffic congestion. It's hurting our distribution-based economy, creating unsafe conditions, and increasing air pollution. As the situation gradually became a crisis, the State of Oregon and local jurisdictions invested billions elsewhere.
2 years ago the Legislature responded by passing HB-2017, increasing Vehicle Registration Fees, and raising the gas tax by 10 cents per gallon, exclusively for maintenance. Several large highway projects were funded, but money for widening I-205 and Hwy 217 was eliminated late in the process. Tolling was presented as a possible way to fund those projects.
Instead, the State authorized a study for "Value Pricing", a plan to toll existing freeways in which the millions collected won't be spent on increasing capacity, and the rates will be higher during heavy traffic times. Imagine the cost! Imagine how much traffic would be diverted into our neighborhoods! Fortunately, we have the power of the Initiative process, and are already taking action. IP-10, a state-wide petition, is being circulated to require a public vote before tolling can be imposed.
A second initiative, involving transportation spending, will soon be filed In Clackamas County. The opportunity to make a difference is here. We need energized volunteers and financial support to qualify the Initiatives for the ballot in 2020. Please join our movement to keep driving affordable!
