Thumbs up? Thumbs down? Our way, or theirs?
Which K. B. will be governor?
Sanctuary, or sanity?
Sales tax on groceries banned, or maybe?
Abortions on the public tab?
This election is a very big deal.

Let's hear the most recent polling, from
perhaps Oregon's most accurate pollster:
Lee Vasche
Lee Vasche

Lee will bring polling only a few days old
Bring your ears, and hold your breath.

Join us Wednesday Night!

And remember: it was 6 years ago, October 12th,
when Oregon lost a champion tax warrior,
our friend Don McIntire.
Raise a glass (his favorite: a "double Dickel").

Submitting Followup Information

Executive Club passes on meeting followup information as a courtesy to our speakers and members. Any member or speaker may submit, by email, a simple update text presentation to be sent to the club mailing list, to give the membership to have more details, or just a recap of your platform presentation. To be considered for publication, please be sure to submit your update within 24 hours of the close of the meeting. Please don't include any pictures in your text, but links to web pages, or links to things stored elsewhere on the web -- .pdf files, Word documents, or even pictures -- are OK now. Formatting and inserted pictures will not be copied, just the text content, so please don't use 4 fonts and 6 colors to convey your thoughts: you will be disappointed. Look at a previous followup email, or the bottom of most of the invitation emails, to see how they are presented. The simpler and cleaner your text, the more likely it will appear exactly the same in the email we send out. Each update must also indicate the author's name and contact information -- either a phone number, email address, or website with contact information. We reserve the right to edit for brevity, or reject, any submission.

From Aaron Withe (503-951-6208), Oregon Director of Freedom Foundation.

The Freedom Foundation is a regional think and action tank dedicated to removing government unions influence on the political cycle.
August has been a great month for Freedom all over the board, here are a couple of notable ones:

Remember when the city of Portland sued us because we wanted access to public records? Well, not only did a judge deem that the lawsuit was a waste of time, but also awarded us over $22,000 in attorneys fee's to be paid by the city. This lawsuit was, to put lightly, a total witch hunt from the laborers union and the City of Portland. It was an effort to use our resources on a frivolous lawsuit, but even in Portland justice was served.

Our outreach is in full swing to Janus effected public employees. In fact, since the decision, over 3,200 public employees in Oregon have decided to opt out of their unions with our help. That leads to over $3.3 million dollars in lost revenue annually for the unions.

Hundreds of employees have also approached us wanting legal action to be taken on their behalf against their unions. It seems they're not accepting the outcome of the Janus decision (unsurprisingly). By next month I'll be have news on this legal action to combat their schemes.

As I always I'd encourage readers to support our fight and become a Freedom Fighter by donating through our website today: https://www.freedomfoundation.com/donate/

Lastly, we have some more lawsuits coming out against various government unions, sign up to our e-mail updates here to keep up with current information.
