Executive Club Meeting!
7:00 pm ⊕ Wednesday July 11th ⊕ Airport Shilo Inn
"This procedure violates the First Amendment and cannot
continue. Neither an agency fee nor any other payment to
the union may be deducted from a nonmember's wages, nor
may any other attempt be made to collect such a payment,
unless the employee affirmatively consents to pay."
With those words, 41 years of public sector employee
abuse comes to an end, and with it the forced support
for the incestuous money circulation from the unions,
to the Democrat party, and back again... and again.
A huge victory for limited government
...and for individual FREEDOM!
So, why did it take so long? What's next?
Let's ask our July speakers:
Mark Mix started his political advocacy with state-
level Right to Work groups, and joined National Right
to Work (NRW) Legal Defense Foundation in 1990. He is
now President of both the NRW Committee, a 2.8 million
member public policy organization, and the NRW
Foundation, which provides unmatched free legal
assistance to workers suffering the abuses of
compulsory unionism. He has appeared on national
television on Fox, CNBC, and CNN, and on national radio
shows such as those of Lars Larson, Jason Lewis, and
Michael Reagan. His writing has appeared in the Wall
Street Journal, Washington Times, Investors Business
Daily. A sought-after speaker, he's going to talk
about the history of the Janus case, leading to
this momentous decision.
For 21 years Tom McCabe very successfully led the
Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) as
an advocate for free-markets, spearheading statewide
initiatives to roll back taxes and regulations. The
Wall Street Journal called BIAW the "counterbalance to
labor unions in Washington State," and in 2011, the
American Conservative Union presented Tom with the
Ronald Reagan Award for service in the conservative
movement. As CEO of Freedom Foundation, he'll be
describing the next phase of the battle to help workers
who don't want to be in a public sector union to escape,
and in particular what to expect the unions will do
to resist the loss.

Submitting Followup Information
Executive Club passes on meeting followup information as a courtesy to our speakers and members. Any member or speaker may submit, by email, a simple update text presentation to be sent to the club mailing list, to give the membership to have more details, or just a recap of your platform presentation. To be considered for publication, please be sure to submit your update within 24 hours of the close of the meeting. Please don't include any pictures in your text, but links to web pages, or links to things stored elsewhere on the web -- .pdf files, Word documents, or even pictures -- are OK now. Formatting and inserted pictures will not be copied, just the text content, so please don't use 4 fonts and 6 colors to convey your thoughts: you will be disappointed. Look at a previous followup email, or the bottom of most of the invitation emails, to see how they are presented. The simpler and cleaner your text, the more likely it will appear exactly the same in the email we send out. Each update must also indicate the author's name and contact information -- either a phone number, email address, or website with contact information. We reserve the right to edit for brevity, or reject, any submission.
