Executive  Club  Meeting  Invitation!
7:00 pm  •  Wednesday September 7th  •  Airport Shilo Inn

I'm only one vowel away from being a #NeverTrumper.

I'm a #NeverTramper, instead. Since 1992, actually,
when I first saw her on the national scene.

And I'm a mathematician, so I'm not willing to entertain the idea of
a pair running at 9% gaining a half point a day to win.
That's just imaginary arithmetic, square root of negative 1 stuff.

So here's realism for you:

Trump is it.

Or we get Obama's third term, with all the nutty foreign policy
and more bad judges and trampling of enumerated rights
and for-crying-out-loud-he-just-hates-America George Soros.

And here's optimism for you:

Trump knows how to negotiate, and that's what this job is all about.

Like reconfiguring government so commerce can employ 94 million who've given up.
Like structuring borders and immigration so those who obey the rules are first in line.
Like pursuing trade deals that favor both partners, not just the other side.

And here's the movie scene: Lady Liberty, bending over R2D2, saying,
"Help us, Donald J. Trump! You're our only hope."

...To keep the Supreme Court from all putting on Darth Vader masks
and deciding to end the Republic in favor of an empire.

Too schmaltzy? Too cliche? I don't think so.
Imagine the court with 5 young, dedicated liberals on it.
Darth Vader would bow in admiration
(shiver) to Empress Hillary!

Yeah, it's that serious.

So, Donald is doing what he's supposed to be doing tonight.

Let's hear from his Oregon team:

Jacob G. Daniels
Jacob G. Daniels

Jacob is the State Director in Oregon
for Mr. Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

Daniels is an attorney who has served on a number of statewide campaigns
and is a respected opposition researcher, currently on sabbatical from
the Washington D.C. based Sonoran Policy Group,
where he serves as special counsel to the Chairman.
As a native of Oregon, Daniels wants nothing more than to turn
Oregon red and win up-and-down the ticket in 2016.

So set aside pessimism, quit thinking of Oregon as Forever Blue,
and join us Wednesday night.

Submitting Followup Information

Executive Club passes on meeting followup information as a courtesy to our speakers and members. Any member or speaker may submit, by email, a simple update text presentation to be sent to the club mailing list, to give the membership to have more details, or just a recap of your platform presentation. To be considered for publication, please be sure to submit your update within 24 hours of the close of the meeting. Please don't include any pictures in your text, but links to web pages, or links to things stored elsewhere on the web -- .pdf files, Word documents, or even pictures -- are OK now. Formatting and inserted pictures will not be copied, just the text content, so please don't use 4 fonts and 6 colors to convey your thoughts: you will be disappointed. Look at a previous followup email, or the bottom of most of the invitation emails, to see how they are presented. The simpler and cleaner your text, the more likely it will appear exactly the same in the email we send out. Each update must also indicate the author's name and contact information -- either a phone number, email address, or website with contact information. We reserve the right to edit for brevity, or reject, any submission.

From Anne Marie Gurney (503-901-5635), Oregon Coordinator of Freedom in Action.

It's a good day for Freedom

Good afternoon,

The Wall Street Journal published a piece today featuring Freedom Foundation’s canvassing efforts in both Washington and Oregon. Our canvassing program is unique and effective, and we are so glad others, not just the media, are taking notice. We are also happy that union leadership has nothing meaningful to say except a simple assertion that what we’re doing isn’t working. Numbers don’t lie. Freeing thousands of forced union members from the tyranny of union membership is effective and there is no defense to that fact.

Here is the piece:

Additionally, The Bend Bulletin published a great piece from our new policy staff member, Ben Straka, on what the true motivations are for government union’s effort behind Measure 97 is. We at the Freedom Foundation, will now be referring to Measure 97 as “Union Membership Drive 2016” from this point forward. If successful, their membership drive will plop almost $9 million more dollars into their already full coffers to fund freedom stomping/business killing ideas. We will increase our messaging efforts on this angle in the next 2 weeks.

Continuing to shine the light on the actions of government unions that squash freedom, entrepreneurship and individual rights in Oregon.

Have a great day.
